Take a longer loop walk around Uluru to see desert plants, waterholes and changing views of the rock.
Starting from Mala Carpark, the loop passes native grasses, bloodwoods, waterways and waterholes. Water, toilets and an emergency call device are available on the route.
In hot weather, start in the cooler morning and aim to finish before 11 am. Take water, stay cool and check current track conditions before you leave.
